Pinot Noir (red) 2022

Medium ruby in colour with amazing aromas of cherries, wild strawberries and rose with a hint of something more savoury - slightly smokey leather? Concentrated, elegant fruit flavours on the palate with great focus, light - medium bodied with a silky texture and light tannins. Great length. 2022 was a perfect vintage to make a red wine from Pinot noir (as opposed to a pink version, or even white). This is still a very young wine and will develop with years of aging, but nonetheless is lovely to drink in its vibrant youth. Essex fruit, made in old French oak.
